Washington MESA

Creating pathways to STEM

The Washington Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program is an educational pathway program administered by the University of Washington and established by the Washington State legislature.

Washington MESA provides enrichment and access opportunities to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs for grades 6 –12 and college students across the state with the goal of increasing representation of historically underrepresented students of color and women in STEM fields.

We’re excited to offer two scholarship opportunities for MESA students: The Boeing Scholarship and The Weyerhaeuser Scholarship, which each provide scholarships of up to $2,500. Students only need to submit one application to be eligible for both awards. We recommended that you draft your short answers in a separate document, check spelling, then paste your responses into the online scholarship application. The application is closed for 2023.
